US Republicans have offered President Obama a short-term limit increase to stave off default.
Republicans are meeting with the President in Thursday. On Wednesday, Mr Obama met House Democrats at the White House and told them he would prefer a longer-term increase of one year to the nation's $16.69 trillion debt ceiling
I don't think its necessary to set a debt ceiling when we are just gonna break it anyway.
